Froebel Trust colleagues recognised in the Nursery World Awards 2023 shortlist
Dr Stella Louis, Lead Tutor for the Froebel Trust Short Courses, has been shortlisted as Trainer of the Year for the 2023 Nursery World Awards.
This nomination is well-deserved recognition of her hard work, care and dedication - introducing a Froebelian approach to thousands of educators in schools and early years settings. Stella leads our team of Froebel Trust Travelling Tutors. She is also a freelance early years consultant, working both in the United Kingdom and internationally. In 2022 she authored a Froebel Trust pamphlet 'Observing young children' - created for educators working in schools and early years settings (available as a free download).

We are also delighted to share the news that Professor Alison Clark's book, "Slow knowledge and the Unhurried Child" (published by Routledge) is a finalist in the Professional Book of the Year category. Alison's book was developed in connection to her Froebel Trust funded research project - available via our online research library.

Professor Alison Clark's inspiring book explores the relationship with time in early childhood and makes the case for the need to slow down in early childhood education.
Winners will be announced at a Nursery World ceremony in London on 30 September 2023.
Wishing our Froebelian colleagues the best of luck!
