A Celebration of Blocks : a free webinar to launch a new pamphlet Froebel’s Gifts and Block Play Today.

This webinar will introduce Froebel's Gifts, discuss the relevance of block play in current early years practice and explore what wooden blocks in particular can offer young children and babies.

To launch our new Froebel Trust Block Play pamphlet, author Jane Whinnett will be in conversation with Dr Jane Read (Froebel Trust pamphlet series editor), Professor Tina Bruce (Director of the Froebel Blockplay Research Group) and Catriona Gill (developer of the Education Scotland, Being Me through Block Play resource).

This online event is free for all to attend. Educators, parents/ carers and all those interested in finding out more about Froebelian practice and principles are welcome.

"Blocks are gender-neutral and cross-cultural. Children do not need to share the same language to play together with blocks."

She taught throughout the primary school before specialising in the early years.
